Dermoys Cream contains Liquid Paraffin, and White Soft Parraffin. Role of active ingredients: Light Liquid paraffin acts as lubricant and keeps the skin soft. Light Liquid Paraffin and White Soft Paraffin exert an emollient effect by forming an occlusive film which reduces trans-epidermal water loss, thus helping to maintain normal skin humidity levels. Polyvinyl pyrrolidone enhances the strength and longevity of the occlusive film formed by the oil on the skin. White soft paraffin is used to soften, hydrate and protect the skin and soothe any irritation, especially in patients with dry skin conditions.White soft paraffin is used as a barrier cream by providing a layer of oil on the surface of the skin to prevent water evaporating from the skin surface. Dermoys cream is used as an emollients and skin protectives. Use under medical supervision.
