What Alfadine Cream 20gm is used for?

• Skin infections
• Disinfection of Wounds, cuts, abrasions and burns
• Postoperative wounds
• Prophylaxis against infection in hospital and surgery procedures

Talk to your doctor before using Alfadine Cream 20gm, if you:

Are allergic to povidone-iodine or any of the other ingredients

Have thyroid problems

• Benzalkonium chloride
• Bupivacaine liposomal (a medicine used to reduce severe pain)
• Collagenase
• Lithium
• Fibrin sealant, human (medicine used to control bleeding)

Medicinal Benefits:

The affected area should be cleaned and dried

Apply full strength, as a paint, or soak or spray as often as needed

Do not use the dressing longer than 1 week

• Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
• Irritation, swelling or redness
• Systemic effects include metabolic acidosis
