ALTONIL 3MG contain melatonin which belongs to a group of medicine called melatonin receptor agonists. It is used to treat jetlag in adults. Jetlag is a sleep disorder that can affect those who travel quickly across multiple time zone. It is a temporary sleep disorder. It occurs when the body's internal clock is out of sync with the new time zone.

Jetlag can be recognized by sleep disturbance, daytime tiredness, fatigue, mild mental impairment, irritability and digestive system disturbance experienced after flying. The most common side effects of ALTONIL 3MG are headache and drowsiness. This medicine is strictly not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years. Before taking this medicine tell your doctor if you have ever had kidney disease, heart disease, or liver problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine.
