Amphoject 50mg Injection is an antifungal medication. It is used in the treatment of severe fungal infections and kala-azar. It kills the infection causing fungi and thus, treats the infection. Amphoject 50mg Injection is administered as an injection by a healthcare professional. Kindly do not self administer. Before you take this medicine, inform your doctor if you suffer from diabetes, liver/kidney problems or are on dialysis or have low potassium level in blood. It may lead to a few common side effects like headache, vomiting, nausea, stomach cramps and fever. You may also notice some injection site reactions like pain, swelling or redness. In case, you have missed any dose than it is better to take another one as soon as you remember it. Dizziness may occur as its side effect, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus. You should avoid alcohol along with this medicine as it may worsen your side effects..
Some of the common side effects of this medicine include excessive production of saliva, fatigue, headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, rash, tremors, and numbness or tingling sensation in the hands or feet.
