It is used to treat acute uncomplicated malaria, which is a mosquito-borne disease characterized by fever, chills, tiredness, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain and is caused by the parasite plasmodium falciparum.

Patients who have severe liver or kidney problems or who feel worse or unwell enough to eat and drink should not take ARTILUMY TABLET.

Patients who have a severe malaria infection that affects the lungs, kidneys, or brain, a heart condition like changes in the heart rhythm, a slow heartbeat, or severe heart disease, and low blood levels of electrolytes like potassium or magnesium should not take the ARTILUMY TABLET.

Generally, the first trimester of pregnancy is not a good time to use ARTILUMY TABLET. The second and third trimesters should be used with caution, and breast-feeding women should only use it if their doctor tells them to.

Children should use ARTILUMY TABLET with caution, and the dose may be adjusted by your child's doctor based on their age and weight.
