• Cholesterol-lowering medicines (e.g. cholestyramine)

• Hydrocortisone, prednisolone medicine used to treat asthma
_x000D_
• Bendroflumethiazide, medicine used to treat high blood pressure

• Actinomycin, a medicine used to treat cancer

Warning & Precautions

• Are allergic to cholecalciferol or to any of the ingredients of this medicine

• Have hypercalcemia
_x000D_
• Have hypervitaminosis

• Have malabsorption syndrome

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.

• This medicine will be given to you by your doctor or a nurse.

• If you take more CALCIROL, contact your doctor.

• If you have missed one or more doses.

• Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

• Consult your doctor before you stop taking this medication.

Side Effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

• Hypercalcemia in urine and blood marked by loss of appetite, constipation, stomach ache, muscle weakness, drowsiness or confusion

• Allergic reaction at the injection site
_x000D_
• Constipation
