It is used to treat perennial, seasonal allergic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, mild uncomplicated allergic skin manifestations of urticaria and angioedema (swelling underneath skin).

Allergic rhinitis is a diagnosis associated with a group of symptoms affecting the nose caused by irritation and inflammation of the nasal membrane. These symptoms occur when you breathe in something you are allergic to, such as dust, pollen or animal dander. Symptoms are sneezing, itchiness and a blocked or runny nose.

DEXCPM SR 6MG TABLET may provide relief from itching caused by skin conditions such as allergic eczema, pruritus ani, pruritus vulvae, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, insect bites, dermographism and medication reactions (serum sickness).
