DEZACORT 6 TABLET contains Deflazacort which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-Inflammatory and Immunomodulator Drugs. It is used to treat inflammation in asthma (inflamed airways), arthritis (pain and inflammation in the joints), and allergies.
DEZACORT 6 TABLET is also used in the treatment of problems with your skin, kidney, heart, digestive system, eyes, or blood and where your body has growths (tumors). It is also used to prevent rejection after organ transplant operations.
DEZACORT 6 TABLET is not recommended for use in patients who have any untreated systemic infection and had any vaccinations with live viruses.
Before taking DEZACORT 6 TABLET, inform your doctor if you have epilepsy, problems in the liver, kidney, or heart, diabetes, high blood pressure, mental health problems, osteoporosis, glaucoma, esophagitis, ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis or peptic ulcer and pheochromocytoma.
