- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- Take this medicine by mouth
- Swallow your tablet whole with a glass of water
- Dose may depend according to the patients age and disease condition
- For children, the doctor will work out the dose based on their age and weight
- Your child will be given the lowest possible dose
- The usual dose for chronic arthritis and Asthma is between 0.25 mg and 1 mg of the medicine for each kg of your childs bodyweight, each day
- The usual dose for kidney problems (nephrotic syndrome) is 1.5 mg of the medicine for each kg of your childs bodyweight, each day
- Depending on how well the medicine works for your child, this dose may then be slowly lowered
If you take more DFZ 1MG
- If you take too much DFZ 1MG at one time, call the doctor or poison control center, or go to the emergency room right away
If you forget to take DFZ 1MG
- If you forget to take a dose take it as soon as you remember unless it is time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
If you stop taking DFZ 1MG
- Do not stop taking this medicine without your doctors advice
