ECLO 6 OINTMENT is a combination of Clobetasol propionate and Salicylic acid which belongs to a group of medicines called Topical Corticosteroids and Keratolytic agents, respectively. ECLO 6 OINTMENT is used to treat and provide relief from inflammatory manifestations of skin conditions such as psoriasis (skin condition marked by rash and itchiness) and eczema (skin inflammation) in affected individuals.

ECLO 6 OINTMENT is also used to provide relief from skin redness, itching and/or swelling due to various skin conditions. It is also indicated for use to treat other skin conditions such as dermatoses (skin lesion), seborrheic dermatitis of scalp (skin condition marked by scaly patches and red skin on the scalp) and/or ichthyosis vulgaris (inherited skin condition marked by dry & scaly skin) in affected individuals.

ECLO 6 OINTMENT is generally not recommended for use in patients allergic to clobetasol and/or salicylic acid. ECLO 6 OINTMENT is advised to be used in pregnant and breastfeeding women only if it is clearly necessary.

ECLO 6 OINTMENT is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 12 years). The medicine is advised to be used with caution in elderly patients (aged above 65 years) after consulting the doctor.
