ETRIK 120MG contains Etoricoxib which belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It helps in reducing pain and swelling in the joints and muscles of people aged 16 years and older with conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and gout. It is also used as a short-term treatment of moderate pain after dental surgery in people 16 years of age and older.

Arthritis is a condition resulting from the gradual breakdown of cartilage that cushions end of the bones resulting in swelling, pain, tenderness, and stiffness of joints. Inflammatory disease of the spine and large joints is termed ankylosing spondylitis. Gout is a condition characterized by sudden, recurring attacks of painful inflammation and redness in joints due to the deposition of mineral crystals in the joint.

Always take this medicine exactly as the doctor has told you. It can be taken with or without food. ETRIK 120MG is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 16 years of age. Do not drive or use tools or machines if you experience dizziness or sleepiness. The most common side effects are stomach pain, swelling of legs and/or feet due to the fluid retention, dizziness, headache, palpitations, irregular heartbeat, increased blood pressure, wheezing or shortness of breath (bronchospasms), constipation, gastritis, heartburn, diarrhea, indigestion, nausea and vomiting.
