FLEXAR 20MG contains Piroxicam which is one of the groups of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It will help to relieve the pain and reduce swelling that affects the joints and muscles. It is used to relieve some symptoms caused by osteoarthritis (joint disease), rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis (rheumatism of the spine) such as swelling, stiffness, and joint pain.

Always take this medicine as directed by a physician. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of therapy depending on your age, weight, and condition. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. It is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years. Do not take this medicine, if you have or have had disorders of the stomach or intestines such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, gastrointestinal cancers, or diverticulitis (inflamed or infected pouches in the colon).
