  • Lower the phosphate level in the blood of adult patients with chronic kidney disease

Tell your doctor if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any of the following medicines such as:

  • Chloroquine (for rheumatism and malaria)
    • _x000D_
  • Ketoconazole (for fungal infections)
    • _x000D_
  • Tetracycline or doxycycline antibiotics and floxacin antibiotics
    • _x000D_
  • Levothyroxine (for an underactive thyroid)
    • _x000D_
