GASTRO SL CAPSULE is a combination of Esomeprazole and Levosulpiride which belongs to the group of medicines called Proton-pump inhibitors and Dopamine D2 antagonists respectively. GASTRO SL CAPSULE is indicated for the treatment of Gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD) among patients who do not adequately respond to proton-pump inhibitors alone (Ex. pantoprazole, rabeprazole, esomeprazole, omeprazole).

GERD is a chronic digestive disorder in which stomach acid frequently runs into the esophagus, causing irritation of the food pipe lining. Heartburn, chest pain, nausea, a lump in the throat, and stomach discomfort are all symptoms. GASTRO SL CAPSULE is also effective in treating peptic ulcers caused by H. pylori infection or NSAID use. Peptic ulcers are painful sores that form on the stomach, esophagus, or intestine linings. Stomach ache, flatulence, indigestion, vomiting, and weariness are all symptoms.

Along with treatment with GASTRO SL CAPSULE eat less spicy food and drink plenty of water or fluids as advised by your physician. Avoid the consumption of alcohol as it could aggravate your existing disease conditions.
