Uses, Side Effects, Price of HEMOLITE XT Tablet 10's

HEMOLITE XT TABLET contains Ferrous ascorbate and Folic acid which belongs to the group of medicines called Hematinics. It is used to treat and prevent nutritional deficiency anaemia associated with iron and folic acid.

HEMOLITE XT TABLET can also be used to treat and prevent anaemia occurring during pregnancy and breast feeding. Anemia is when your body can't produce enough of haemoglobin (a substance in red blood cells that enables them to carry oxygen), due to insufficient iron.

HEMOLITE XT TABLET is not recommended to be taken if you have any kidney or liver diseases, porphyria cutanea tarda, conditions affecting iron level of your body, cobalamin deficiency, any malignant disease, inflammatory bowel disease, galactose intolerance, lapp lactase deficiency or glucose - galactose malabsorption.

It is not recommended to take HEMOLITE XT TABLET if you are receiving frequent blood transfusions and parenteral iron therapy. HEMOLITE XT TABLET is safe to take in pregnancy and breastfeeding, however, consult your doctor before taking it. Safety and efficacy of HEMOLITE XT TABLET in children have not been established. The most common side effects of taking HEMOLITE XT TABLET are nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhoea and dark stools. It is recommended to consult the doctor if any of the symptoms worsen or persist for longer duration

      Q4Can I take HEMOLITE XT TABLET if I recently received a coronary stent? No, it is not recommended to take HEMOLITE XT TABLET if you got a surgery performed for coronary stenosis (angioplasty and coronary stents). Also, it is recommended to take HEMOLITE XT TABLET with caution if anyone in the family is diagnosed with a condition/ disease affecting heart. Consult your doctor for advice.
