Description

Uses, Side Effects, Price of Injayclav Dry Syrup:

Injayclav Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medication used to treat bacterial infections in various parts of the body, such as the ear, nose, throat, chest, lungs, teeth, skin, and urinary tract. It is particularly effective against bacteria that have developed resistance to other antibiotics, making it useful for treating drug-resistant tuberculosis as well.

When administering Injayclav Dry Syrup to your child, it can be given with or without food, but it is generally recommended to give it with food to improve absorption and reduce the risk of stomach upset. The dosage and frequency of administration will be determined by the severity of the infection, the type of infection, as well as your child's weight and age, and it's important to follow the prescribed dose, timing, and administration method. If your child vomits the medicine within 30 minutes of taking it, wait for your child to calm down and then repeat the dose. Do not double the dose if it's time for the next scheduled dose.

Like any medication, Injayclav Dry Syrup may cause side effects such as vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, and allergic reactions. These side effects are usually temporary and will resolve on their own, but if they persist or become bothersome to your child, it's important to consult your child's doctor without delay.

It's important to provide your child's complete medical history to the doctor, including any previous instances of allergies, heart problems, blood disorders, birth defects, airway obstruction, lung abnormalities, gastrointestinal issues, skin disorders, liver impairment, or kidney dysfunction. This information will help the doctor in making appropriate dose adjustments and planning your child's overall treatment.

USES OF Injayclav Dry Syrup

  • In Treatment of Resistance Tuberculosis (TB)

BENEFITS OF Injayclav Dry Syrup:

  • In Treatment of Fungal infections

In multidrug-resistant (MDR) tuberculosis, the bacteria responsible produce an enzyme called beta-lactamase, which breaks down antibiotics and renders them ineffective. This leads to antibiotic resistance, making it challenging to treat the infection. However, Injayclav Dry Syrup contains two active ingredients, namely amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Clavulanic acid acts by inhibiting the beta-lactamase enzyme, preventing it from neutralizing the amoxicillin. As a result, amoxicillin can effectively target and kill the tuberculosis-causing bacteria, making the combination of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid a promising treatment option for drug-resistant tuberculosis.
