Ivermectin, a member of the class of medications known as antiparasitic agents, is present in IVERTREAT 12 TABLET. It is used to treat parasitic infections like human scabies (a skin infection) and intestinal strongyloidiasis, which is caused by a type of round worm called strongyloides stercoralis. It is also used to treat infections caused by Wuchereria bancrofti in the blood and tissues. Onchocerciasis, also known as river blindness, is a parasitic disease caused by Onchocerca volvulus. It is also used to treat it.

Inform your doctor if you have an eye infection known as loa loa, a weak immune system, or are taking any other medications for other conditions prior to taking IVERTREAT 12 TABLET.

Unless otherwise directed by a physician, pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take IVERTREAT 12 TABLET. Before using this medication, talk to your doctor.

IVERTREAT 12 TABLET's efficacy and safety in children weighing less than 15 kilograms have not been evaluated. Elderly patients (those over the age of 65) should not take IVERTREAT 12 TABLET.
