LANPEP DT 15 ORALLY DISINTEGRATING TABLET contains Lansoprazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Proton Pump Inhibitors. It is used in the treatment and prevention of intestinal and peptic (stomach) ulcers. Peptic or intestinal ulcers are open sores that form on the inside lining of your stomach and the upper part of your small intestine, causing stomach pain.

LANPEP DT 15 ORALLY DISINTEGRATING TABLET is also used to treat reflux oesophagitis (inflammation of lower food pipe due to backflow of acidic stomach material) and Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome (small tumour in the first part of your bowel due to excessive gastrin secretion).

Before taking LANPEP DT 15 ORALLY DISINTEGRATING TABLET, inform your doctor if you have severe liver disease, phenylketonuria, osteoporosis or if you are about to have a specific blood test (Chromogranin A). LANPEP DT 15 ORALLY DISINTEGRATING TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women. LANPEP DT 15 ORALLY DISINTEGRATING TABLET is not recommended for use in children.
