Lipholyn 50 Injection includes Amphotericin B, a medication in the Antifungal agent class. Lipholyn 50 Injection is used to treat invasive fungal infections in individuals who have become resistant or intolerant to standard Amphotericin B therapy.

Lipholyn 50 Injection should not be used in people who are allergic to Amphotericin B. It is also not advised for usage in individuals with common/superficial, clinically inapparent fungal infections (which can only be detected by positive skin/serologic testing).

Inform your doctor if you are neutropenic, have liver problems (such as hepatic impairment), or suffer from renal difficulties/are on dialysis before getting Lipholyn 50 Injection.

Lipholyn 50 Injection should only be used in pregnant or breast-feeding women if absolutely essential. It is also used with caution in children and adolescents (under the age of 18) and in the elderly (above the age of 65) after consulting with a doctor.
