METCLOMIDE INJECTION contains Metoclopramide which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-emetics. It is indicated for both adults and children (aged 1 to 18 years) to prevent nausea and vomiting which may occur after surgery, chemotherapy, or radiotherapy. It can also be used to treat nausea and vomiting which is associated with migraine in adults.

Migraine is a headache that causes severe throbbing pain or a pulsing sensation, particularly on one side of the head and it is characterized by symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light.

Your doctor may perform blood tests during treatment with METCLOMIDE INJECTION to monitor your blood pigment (hemoglobin) levels. Your doctor may immediately or permanently stop your treatment if there are any abnormalities in the levels of blood pigment.

Before receiving METCLOMIDE INJECTION, inform your doctor if you are having liver, kidney, or heart diseases, porphyria (rare blood disorder), brain problems, and also if you are using any other medicines that may affect your heartbeat.

  • Prevents delayed nausea and vomiting (that occurs after chemotherapy (in children) or caused by radiotherapy (in adults)).
