MOPID 5MG contains Mosapride which belongs to the group of medicines called Gastrointestinal Agents. It is used in the treatment of heartburn, nausea and vomiting caused by chronic gastritis (condition that occurs when your stomach lining becomes inflamed) and disorders associated with reduced gastrointestinal motility (digestive problems that occurs when the nerves or muscles of the gut do not work in a coordinated way). It is also used as an adjuvant therapy with oral gastrointestinal lavage solution for barium enema x-ray examination.

A barium enema x-ray (examination) is a special type of X-ray that takes images of the large intestine (colon, rectum and anus) which helps the healthcare providers to diagnose certain gastrointestinal tract conditions or understand its associated symptoms.

MOPID 5MG is not recommended for use if you are allergic to mosapride. It is also not recommended for use if you have any haemorrhage (bleeding problems) or digestive blockage.
