INTRODUCTION

MYCOTAG 500MG TABLET contains Mycophenolate mofetil which belongs to the group of medicines called Immunosuppressants. It is used to prevent your body rejecting a transplanted organ (such as kidney, heart, and liver). It is also given with other medications such as corticosteroids and ciclosporin. Your doctor will perform some regular blood tests to monitor any changes in your body. MYCOTAG 500MG TABLET may increase the risk of skin cancer. Limit your exposure to sunlight and ultraviolet light by covering the exposed areas of skin as much as possible and by applying sunscreen with a high protective factor.

MYCOTAG 500MG TABLET can cause birth defects and miscarriage, hence it is strictly not recommended for use in pregnant women and breastfeeding women. MYCOTAG 500MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children under 2 years of age. Contact your doctor before taking it. DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Take MYCOTAG 500mg Tablet 10's as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

SIDE EFFECTS OF MYCOTAG 500mg Tablet 10's

• Constipation, feeling of skipped heart beats, weakness, or muscle damage (low potassium levels)
• Severe pain in joints, joint stiffness, difficulty in moving the affected joints, redness, and swelling (high level of uric acid in the blood)
• Tiredness, breathlessness, and skin paleness (anemia)
• Dizziness, headache
• Abnormal eye movements, convulsions, muscle spasms, or weakness (low magnesium levels)
• Bloating, constipation
• Nausea, vomiting
• Respiratory infections
• Swollen hands, ankles, or feet

HOW TO MANAGE SIDE EFFECTS

Headache:

Take a rest and drink plenty of water. Avoid taking alcohol and skipping meals. Do not strain your eyes by looking at the screen for a long time. Consult your doctor if the symptom does not improve.

Dizziness:

Lie down until the dizziness passes and get up slowly. Do not bend down suddenly. Get a lot of rest. Walk slowly and carefully. Take plenty of fluids. Avoid drinking coffee, alcohol, or smoking. Consult your doctor if the symptom does not improve.

Diarrhea:

Drink a lot of fluids, such as water to keep yourself hydrated. Try to avoid taking any medicine on your own to treat diarrhea and consult your doctor if the symptom gets worse.

Constipation:

Try to eat more high-fiber foods such as fresh fruit, vegetables, cereals, and drink plenty of water. Try doing exercise regularly (going for a daily walk or run). If this does not help, inform your doctor for receiving alternate treatment for constipation.

Nausea and Vomiting:

Try to take MYCOTAG 500mg Tablet 10's with or just after a meal or a snack. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating oily, fried, or spicy foods. Do not lie down or sleep immediately after eating. Consult your doctor if the symptom gets worse.

PREGNANCY

MYCOTAG 500mg Tablet 10'sis not recommended for use during pregnancy and in women planning to become pregnant. Women with childbearing potential should confirm with negative in the pregnancy test and follow effective contraception before taking MYCOTAG 500mg Tablet 10'sto avoid birth defects and miscarriage. BREASTFEEDING
