Uses, Side Effects, of Pacimol M 5/500mg Tablet 10S

PACIMOL M 5/500MG contains Metoclopramide and Paracetamol

Therapeutic Uses:

• It is used to treat the signs of migraine such as headache, nausea or vomiting

Interactions:

• Levodopa (used to treat Parkinson’s disease)
• Medicines used for cold and cough
• Oral contraceptive pill
• Colestyramine (for lowering blood cholesterol levels)
• Mebeverine or hyoscine (used to treat muscle spasms and for irritable bowel syndrome)
• Oxybutynin, propiverine or tolterodine (used to treat an overactive bladder)
• Codeine, dihydrocodeine or dextropropoxyphene (painkillers)
• Domperidone used for nausea or vomiting
• Mirtazapine or trazodone (used for depression)
• Chloramphenicol (an antibiotic used for infections)
• Warfarin (used to treat blood clot)
• Ciclosporin (used to help prevent rejection of transplant)

Side Effects:

• Difficulty breathing, tightness in the throat, rapidly spreading rashes, dizziness, very fast heartbeat or even loss of consciousness
• Headache, confusion, fatigue
• Neuroleptic malignant syndrome
• Seizures
• Muscle spasms
• Hallucination
• Thrombocytopenia
