PENTASA 1 GM SUPPOSITORY contains mesalamine (mesalazine) which belongs to the group of drugs called salicylates. It's an anti-inflammatory medicine used to treat ulcerative colitis. Ulcerative colitis is an seditious bowel complaint where the filling of the bowel, colon and rectum are inflamed.

PENTASA 1 GM SUPPOSITORY acts locally in the colon and rectum and reduces inflammation. It can also help prevent further occurrences ( flares) of ulcerative colitis. Along with this treatment, your croaker might recommend that you, to avoid smoking and alcohol consumption, stick to simple reflections and to drink plenty of water. Prior to the treatment, your croaker might take blood and urine test to pierce the function of your feathers.

Take this drug as directed by your croaker. It's intended for rectal use only. Don't swallow the drug. Empty your intestine and wash your hands completely. Remove the cap from the applicator and hold the bottle by its upper end. DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Take this drug as directed by your croaker. It's intended for rectal use only. Don't swallow the drug. Empty your intestine and wash your hands completely. Remove the cap from the applicator and hold the bottle by its upper end. By bending your right leg, lie down on your left side with your left leg outstretched.

Fit the applicator into the rectum, holding the bottle refocused towards your nexus. Hold and squeeze the bottle tightly and gently. When the bottle is empty, remove the applicator from the rectum and maintain this fraudulent position for at least 30 twinkles to allow the enema to spread throughout the lower part of the large intestine. Wash your hands. Try not to clear your intestine again until the coming morning. Continue to take this drug, as long as your croaker tells you to do so, to gain better results.

HOW PENTASA 1GM SUPPOSITORY WORKS

It inhibits the production of prostaglandins (lipid composites which produce towel damage and inflammation) by blocking the exertion of cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase. Dropped product of prostaglandins reduces the inflammation in the colon and rectum, which in turn reduces the symptoms associated with ulcerative colitis.
