What PRAMIPAR 0.125MG is used for?

It is used to treat,

  • primary Restless Legs Syndrome
  • signs and symptoms of Parkinsons disease

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:

  • are allergic to Pramipexole or any of the ingredients of PRAMIPAR 0.125MG
  • have sleep problem other than Restless Legs Syndrome
  • have low blood pressure
  • have uncontrolled muscle movement (dyskinesia)
  • have kidney problems
  • consume alcohol

  • Taking this medicine after food may lower your chances of getting nausea
  • Swallow the tablet with small amount of water

If you take more PRAMIPAR 0.125MG

  • If you accidentally take more PRAMIPAR 0.125MG, you should tell your doctor at once or go to the nearest hospital immediately

If you forget to take PRAMIPAR 0.125MG

  • If you miss a dose, do not double your next dose
  • Skip the dose you missed and take your next regular dose

If you stop taking PRAMIPAR 0.125MG

  • Be sure to tell your doctor right away if you stop taking PRAMIPAR 0.125MG for any reason. Do not start taking PRAMIPAR 0.125MG again before speaking with your doctor. If you have Parkinson’s disease and are stopping PRAMIPAR 0.125MG, you should stop PRAMIPAR 0.125MG slowly over 7 days

  • low blood pressure when you sit or stand up quickly - you may have dizziness, nausea, fainting, or sweating. Sit and stand up slowly after you have been sitting or lying down for a while
  • hallucinations - you may see, hear, feel, or taste something that isn’t there. You have a higher chance of having hallucinations if you are over 65 years old
