What is PRIGLIP 20MG?

  • PRIGLIP 20MG contains Teneligliptin which belongs to antidiabetic medicines
  • It works by inhibiting the activity of a certain enzyme known as DPP-4, an enzyme which is responsible for degrading incretins such as GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide 1), which are needed to control blood sugar

What PRIGLIP 20MG is used for?

  • It is used to lower increased blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetes

Talk to your doctor before taking PRIGLIP 20MG, if you:

  • are allergic to teneligliptin or any of the ingredients in this medicine
  • have history of diabetic coma, type 1 diabetic patients
  • have severe infection
  • had undergone surgery or severe trauma

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

  • medicines that can enhance the blood glucose lowering effect like blockers, MAO inhibitors
  • medicines that attenuate the blood glucose lowering effect like steroids, thyroid hormones, etc

  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • The most common dosage is 20mg taken once each day
  • Maximum daily dose is 40mg each day

If you take more PRIGLIP 20MG

  • If you take too many PRIGLIP 20MG, consult your doctor immediately

If you forget to take PRIGLIP 20MG

  • If you have forgotten to take your PRIGLIP 20MG take them as soon as possible on the same day
  • Do not take a double dose

If you stop taking PRIGLIP 20MG 

  • Do not stop your treatment unless your doctor tells you to do so
