Hydroxychloroquine in QS AZ 200 TABLET is a member of the class of medications known as antimalarials or disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs). It is used to treat and prevent malaria in children and adults. The plasmodium parasite is the cause of malaria, a parasitic infection that is transmitted through the blood of infected mosquitoes. It is characterized by body pain, general discomfort, fever, chills, sweating, headache, nausea, and vomiting.

It is also used to treat juvenile idiopathic arthritis in children and rheumatoid arthritis, discoid arthritis, and systemic lupus erythematosus in adults. Additionally, it is used to treat sun-sensitive skin conditions.
