Description

Uses, Side Effects, Price of RABEXTIN L Capsule 10's:

Levosulpiride and Rabeprazole, which are both members of the proton-pump inhibitor and dopamine D2 antagonist drug classes, are combined to form the RABEXTIN L CAPSULE. The medication RABEXTIN L CAPSULE is prescribed to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). A chronic digestive condition known as GERD causes the lining of the food pipe to become inflamed and irritated when stomach acid repeatedly leaks into the esophagus. Heartburn, chest pain, nausea, a lump in the throat sensation, and stomach discomfort are among the symptoms.

Additionally, RABEXTIN L CAPSULE is prescribed to treat peptic ulcers, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, functional dyspepsia, and diabetic gastroparesis. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome is characterized by tumors in the pancreas that cause the stomach to secrete excess acid (delayed gastric emptying caused due to diabetes). Preferably take RABEXTIN L CAPSULE without food. While using RABEXTIN L CAPSULE, avoid drinking alcohol as it may intensify the CNS depressed side effects.

Patients receiving RABEXTIN L CAPSULE for an extended period of time (more than a year) should be monitored closely since it increases the risk of bone fractures, which are more common in patients with osteoporosis or those taking corticosteroids, such as hip, wrist, or spine fractures.

As a precaution, let your doctor know if you have any heart, kidney, or liver condition before using RABEXTIN L CAPSULE. Children and adolescents, as well as pregnant or nursing women, should not use RABEXTIN L CAPSULE (aged below 18 years). Nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, diarrhoea, constipation, and headache are the most frequent adverse reactions to using RABEXTIN L CAPSULE. If any of these symptoms get worse, see a doctor.

USES OF RABEXTIN L Capsule 10's

  • Treats Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
  • Treats function dyspepsia

Benefits of RABEXTIN L Capsule 10's :

RABEXTIN L CAPSULE reduces stomach ulcers, nausea and acid reflux, where rabeprazole acts by inhibiting the secretions of stomach acid by blocking the proton pump (H+ K+ ATPase) at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells and levosulpiride acts by blocking the dopamine D2 receptors in the CTZ (area in medulla oblongata that causes vomiting when stimulated) and in the gut, thus facilitating the movement of food from the stomach into the intestines followed by healing of ulcers or inflammatory lesions in the stomach and in the esophagus.

Take RABEXTIN L CAPSULE on an empty stomach or as advised by your physician. Swallow RABEXTIN L CAPSULE as a whole and do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
