Description

Uses, Side Effects, Price of RABIMOND L Capsule 10's:

Levosulpiride and Rabeprazole, which are both members of the drug classes known as proton-pump inhibitors and dopamine D2 antagonists, respectively, are combined to form the RABIMOND L CAPSULE. Gastroesophageal reflux disease is advised to be treated with RABIMOND L CAPSULE (GERD). A chronic digestive condition known as GERD causes the lining of the food pipe to become inflamed and irritated when stomach acid repeatedly leaks into the esophagus. Heartburn, chest pain, nausea, a lump in the throat sensation, and stomach discomfort are among the symptoms.

Additionally, RABIMOND L CAPSULE is used to treat peptic ulcers, which are uncomfortable stomach sores, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, which is characterized by pancreatic tumors that cause the stomach to secrete more acid, functional dyspepsia, which is characterized by recurrent indigestion without a clear cause, and diabetic gastroparesis (delayed gastric emptying caused due to diabetes). Preferably take RABIMOND L CAPSULE without food. When using RABIMOND L CAPSULE, avoid drinking alcohol as it may intensify the CNS depressing side effects.

Patients consuming RABIMOND L CAPSULE for an extended period of time (more than a year) should be monitored closely since it increases the risk of bone fractures, which are more common in patients with osteoporosis or those taking corticosteroids, such as hip, wrist, or spine fractures. As a precaution, let your doctor know if you have any liver, kidney, or heart illnesses before using RABIMOND L CAPSULE. Children and adolescents, as well as pregnant or nursing women, should not use RABIMON L CAPSULE (aged below 18 years).

The most frequent adverse reactions to taking RABIMOND L CAPSULE include headache, nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, diarrhoea, and constipation. If any of these symptoms get worse, see a doctor.

USES OF RABIMOND L Capsule 10's

  • Treats Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
  • Treats function dyspepsia

Benefits of RABIMOND L Capsule 10's:

RABIMOND L CAPSULE reduces stomach ulcers, nausea, and acid reflux, where rabeprazole acts by inhibiting the secretions of stomach acid by blocking the proton pump (H+ K+ ATPase) at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells and levosulpiride acts by blocking the dopamine D2 receptors in the CTZ (area in the medulla oblongata that causes vomiting when stimulated) and in the gut, thus facilitating the movement of food from the stomach into the intestines followed by healing of ulcers or inflammatory lesions in the stomach and in the esophagus.

Take RABIMOND L CAPSULE on an empty stomach or as advised by your physician. Swallow RABIMOND L CAPSULE as a whole and do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending on your age, body weight, and disease condition.
