What RAZEL EZ 10MG is used for?

  • It is used to lower cholesterol and triglyceride (fat-like substances) levels in the blood
  • It prevents medical problems caused by such substances clogging the blood vessels

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:

  • are allergic to Ezetimibe and Rosuvastatin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • have kidney, liver or thyroid problem
  • have had repeated or unexplained muscle aches or pains, a personal or family history of muscle problems or a previous history of muscle problems when taking other cholesterol-lowering medicines
  • regularly drink large amounts of alcohol
  • have severe respiratory failure

  • If you get pregnant while taking RAZEL EZ 10MG, stop taking and tell your doctor immediately
  • Do not take RAZEL EZ 10MG if you are breast-feeding
  • Consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or are breast feeding

  • Do not give this medicine to children and adolescents (6 to 17 years of age) unless prescribed by a specialist because there are limited data on safety and efficacy

Tell your doctor if you are taking medicine such as:

  • ciclosporin (often used in organ transplant patients)
  • warfarin, phenprocoumon, acenocoumarin or fluindione used to prevent blood clots
  • fibrates (such as gemfibrozil, fenofibrate) or any other medicine used to lower cholesterol (such as ezetimibe)
  • indigestion remedies (used to neutralize acid in your stomach)
  • erythromycin (an antibiotic)
  • fusidic acid
  • hormone replacement therapy
  • ritonavir and/or atazanavir or simeprevir used to treat infections, including HIV or hepatitis C infection

If you take more RAZEL EZ 10MG

  • If you take more RAZEL EZ 10MG, contact your doctor immediately

If you forget to take RAZEL EZ 10MG

  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet, just take your normal amount of RAZEL EZ 10MG at the usual time the next day

If you stop taking RAZEL EZ 10MG

  • Before stop taking of this medicine consult your doctor

  • constipation, reduction in blood cell counts, which may cause bruising/bleeding (thrombocytopenia)
  • tingling sensation
  • depression
  • cough, indigestion, heartburn, decreased appetite
  • joint pain, chest pain, neck pain, muscle pain, abdominal pain and headache
  • muscle spasms
  • hot flush
  • high blood pressure
