Recoboline 50 mg injections are used to prevent the harmful effects of methotrexate (an anticancer drug). It is also used to treat overdose of methotrexate.

Recoboline 50 mg injection is given as a slow injection into a vein under the supervision of a doctor. Your doctor will determine how much and how often you need to take it. This depends on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor told you. Incorrect or overdose can cause very serious side effects.

Injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness) are common side effects of this drug. Talk to your doctor if you are concerned or feel serious about these. There may be ways to reduce or prevent them. Regular blood tests are required to check serum levels of blood cells and methotrexate in the blood.
