Description

Uses, Side Effects, Price of REGLAN Injection 2ml:

Metoclopramide, a member of the class of medications known as anti-emetics, is a component of REGLAN. It is recommended for use by both adults and kids (ages 1 to 18) to stop nausea and vomiting that could happen after surgery, chemotherapy, or radiotherapy. It can also be used to treat adult migraine sufferers' accompanying nausea and vomiting.

A migraine headache is marked by symptoms including nausea, vomiting, and light sensitivity and creates an intense throbbing pain or a pulsing sensation, usually on one side of the head. While you are receiving REGLAN treatment, your doctor may order blood tests to check your hemoglobin (blood pigment) levels. If there are any anomalies in the levels of blood pigment, your doctor may stop your therapy either immediately or permanently. Before taking REGLAN, tell your doctor if you have any liver, kidney, heart, or brain conditions, a rare blood ailment called porphyria, any of these conditions, or if you take any other medications that could affect your heartbeat.

Patients with epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, bleeding, obstruction, or gut tears, adrenal gland tumors (pheochromocytoma), involuntary muscle spasms, Parkinson's disease, or if they are taking medication to treat Parkinson's disease are not advised to use REGLAN.

REGLAN should only be used during pregnancy if specifically prescribed by a doctor. It is not advisable to use REGLAN during the first three months of pregnancy. Due to the possibility of it passing via breast milk, it is not advised for use by breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking REGLAN since it should not be administered to children (under 1 year of age) or elderly individuals without caution. The most frequent adverse reactions to taking REGLAN are weakness, tiredness, restlessness, Diarrhoea, and involuntary body movements. Immediately notify your doctor if any of the negative effects worsen.
