RESPIZEN 50MCG NASAL SPRAY contains Mometasone which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids. RESPIZEN 50MCG NASAL SPRAY is used to treat the symptoms of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) and perennial rhinitis in adults and children aged 2 and older. This medicine is also used to treat nasal polyps in adults aged 18 and over.

Hay Fever is an allergic reaction that occurs due to breathing in pollen from trees, grasses, weeds, molds, and fungal spores generally characterized by a blocked or runny nose, sneezing, and coughing.

Perennial rhinitis is an inflammatory condition that occurs due to sensitivity to a variety of things such as house dust mites, animal hair, feathers, and certain foods characterized by symptoms such as blocked nose, sneezing, itching that might occur for an hour or more on most days throughout the year.
