THEMISET INJECTION contains Palonosetron which belongs to a group of medicines called Serotonin antagonists. It is used to control nausea and vomiting that occurs as a result of chemotherapy (treatment of cancer). THEMISET INJECTION is also used for Postoperative nausea and vomiting following surgery.

Inform your doctor before receiving THEMISET INJECTION if you have or had heart diseases or a family history of heart diseases such as QT prolongation (changes in a heartbeat) or congestive heart failure, slow heartbeat or conduction disturbances, acute bowel obstruction or chronic constipation or untreated electrolyte imbalances like potassium and magnesium in the blood.

THEMISET INJECTION is not recommended for use in pregnancy unless clearly necessary as it is not known whether it may cause harm to the unborn baby. Contact your doctor before receiving it.
