Uses, Side Effects, Price of UROTONE DS Tablet 10's:

UROTONE DS contains Bethanechol which belongs to the group of medicines called Cholinergic agents. It is used to treat urinary retention (inability to empty the bladder) following an operation or after giving birth or other health problems (such as brain, spinal, or nerve problems) and also used in the treatment of reflux esophagitis (inflammation of the esophagus due to backflow of stomach contents into the esophagus).

UROTONE DS is not recommended for use in patients with gut or heart problems, asthma, fits, parkinsonism, or if you had recent surgery on your stomach. CROTONE DS should be used with caution in patients taking certain medicines for heart problems, as a critical fall in blood pressure may occur.

UROTONE DS should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women only if advised by the doctor. It is not recommended for use in elderly patients (above 70 years of age).

The most common side effects of taking UROTONE DS are diarrhea, skin flushing, increased salivation and sweating, decreased body temperature (hypothermia), etc. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.
