Vometil 5mg Tablet 10'S contains prochlorperazine which belongs to a group of medicines called phenothiazine tranquilizers. It works by blocking the effects of a chemical in the brain. It is used in vertigo, Meniere’s syndrome and other labyrinthine disorders, nausea and vomiting.
Always take this medicine as directed by a physician. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of therapy depending upon your age, weight, and condition. Do not take Vometil 5mg Tablet 10'S if you have jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), epilepsy, muscle weakness (myasthenia gravis), and increased pressure in the eye (glaucoma). Inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, and heart problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women consult their doctor before taking this medicine.
