VOMINIL MD TABLET contains Ondansetron, which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-emetics. It is used to treat and prevent nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapy or radiotherapy. VOMINIL MD TABLET is also used after surgeries (operations) to prevent nausea and vomiting.

Before taking VOMINIL MD TABLET, inform your doctor if you have severe constipation, heart or liver problems, imbalance with the levels of salts in the blood, such as potassium, sodium, and magnesium, or if you have been scheduled for any surgery.

VOMINIL MD TABLET is not recommended for use during pregnancy. This medicine may pass through the breast milk hence it is not recommended during breastfeeding. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

USES OF VOMINIL MD TABLET:

• Used to prevent nausea and vomiting in children caused by cancer chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery.

HOW VOMINIL MD TABLET WORKS:

VOMINIL MD TABLET is a serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist (specific chemical receptor) which works by blocking serotonin receptors in the CTZ chemoreceptor trigger zone (zone in the brain that is responsible for causing nausea and vomiting).

• Visual disturbances like blurred vision.
• Effects of heart rhythms resulting in feeling lightheaded or loss of consciousness.
