VONARIL SYRUP contains Ondansetron which belongs to a group of medicines called Anti-emetics. VONARIL SYRUP is used to prevent nausea and vomiting in children caused by cancer chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery.

Before giving VONARIL SYRUP, to your child, inform your doctor if your child has or had severe constipation, heart problems, liver, kidney problems, imbalance with the levels of salts in your blood, (potassium, sodium, and magnesium) or have been scheduled for any surgery. During the therapy, your doctor would regularly monitor your child’s health to avoid the risk of side effects.

Your doctor will prescribe the right dose and duration depending on the child’s age, body weight, and health condition, so stick to the dose, time, and duration prescribed by the doctor.
