Burnaid Gel is a topical gel for skin burns. Burnaid Gel contains Meleleuca oil (Tea Tree oil). Meleleuca oil is essential oil which is well known for its antiseptic qualities. The leaves from certain melaleuca shrubs and trees were traditionally crushed or soaked and used as treatment for a range of ailments including wound care and skin ailments. Burnaid rapidly cools the burn helping to prevent further tissue damage and aid the healing process, and offers the patient rapid and ongoing pain relief. Burnaid burn gel is mainly used for the first aid treatment of minor burns, scalds and sunburn. Warning: Burnaid burn gel should not be used on serious burns. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
