Maxaffin Liquid is a laxative used in a treatment for constipation. It contains Milk of magnesia and Liquid Paraffin, that provides immediate chronic constipation relief. It also reduces stomach acid, and increases water in the intestines which may induce defecation. Milk of magnesia is osmotic-type laxative, helps to cause movement of the intestine, whiles Liquid Paraffin lubricates bowel and soften the stool.
