This means you are less likely to suffer from angina, a heart attack, a stroke, or other blockages of blood vessels. It is likely to be prescribed if you have a high risk of cardiovascular disease and should be taken regularly (usually for the rest of your life) to have a preventive effect. In Treatment and prevention of Heart attack Aspirin 50mg Tablet DR prevents the formation of blood clots in blood vessels thereby reducing the risk of future heart attacks or strokes. In larger doses, Aspirin 50mg Tablet DR may be used in the treatment of a heart attack or a stroke that has been caused by a blood clot. It stops the blood clot that is blocking the supply of blood to the heart from growing any bigger.
