Ceflox-Dee Optic Eye/Ear Drops is a medicine used to treat bacterial eye/ear infections. It works by killing and stopping the growth of microorganisms that cause the infection. It also lubricates the eyes and blocks the production of certain chemicals that make the affected area red, swollen, and itchy. Ceflox-Dee Optic Eye/Ear Drops is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Use it regularly at evenly spaced time intervals or as prescribed by your doctor. You should not discontinue using the medicine unless your doctor tells you so. Stopping the medication before time may allow the bacteria to continue their growth, which may result in return of the infection. It is effective in killing many types of bacteria. However, it will not work for other types of eye/ear infections (e.g., viral) and, therefore, should only be used if prescribed by your doctor. Unnecessary use of any antibiotic can lead to a decrease in its effectiveness in the future. Some people may experience local reactions such as burning, irritation, itching, and redness immediately after application. However, these are usually temporary and resolve with time. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or if your condition worsens. It may cause some short-term blurring of vision. Do not drive immediately after administering this medicine in the eye. Let your doctor know if you are using any other medicines for the treatment of the same condition.
