Description

Riligol Injection is a medicine used to treat bleeding in women who have just had a baby. In some women, the womb (uterus) doesn’t contract (shrink) quickly enough after delivery. This makes it more likely that they’ll bleed more than normal. Riligol Injection makes the womb contract and helps reduce the risk of bleeding. Riligol Injection is given as an intravenous injection by a doctor or a nurse. You should not self-administer this medicine at home. Riligol Injection must not be given until after the baby has been delivered. Before receiving this injection, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions. Some of the most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, stomach pain, itching, flushing, low blood pressure, headaches, and tremors. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects bother you or get worse. Let your doctor also know if you develop any new symptoms while you are being treated with Riligol Injection. You should not use Riligol Injection if you are allergic to any components of this medicine. You should also not use this medicine if you have any kidney or liver problems, have heart problems, or have a history of epilepsy. Let your doctor also know if you have migraines, asthma, or preeclampsia. Riligol Injection should not be used in pregnant women.
