Description

Spar D Eye/Ear Drops is a medicine used in the treatment of bacterial eye and ear infections. It works by killing microorganisms that cause infection. It also blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that make the eye red, swollen, and itchy. Spar D Eye/Ear Drops is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. You can help the medicine work better by keeping the affected areas clean, making sure they are dry, and washing your hands before and after treating the infection. It may cause irritation, itching, redness, and burning sensation immediately following application. However, these side effects are temporary and usually subside on their own. Inform your doctor if they persist for a longer duration. Do not wear contact lenses while using it for the eyes. Do not use the open bottle for more than 4 weeks. It is not likely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way this medicine works, but talk to your doctor before using it if you have recently used another cream that contains a steroid or had an allergic reaction to another medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should ask the advice of a doctor before using this medicine.
