Products highlights
In Ischemic stroke Tenectase 20mg Injection is sometimes called a “clot-buster” because it dissolves harmful blood clots that cause strokes (if they are in the brain). This helps the blood flow freely around your body thereby reducing the damage caused by and the future risk of stroke. It should be given as soon as possible after the onset of stroke.

Description

Tenectase 20mg Injection belongs to a group of medicines called thrombolytic agents. It is used in the emergency treatment of ischemic stroke, which occurs when a blood vessel to your brain becomes blocked by a blood clot. This medicine helps to dissolve the clot and restore blood flow to your brain. Tenectase 20mg Injection is given as an injection directly into a vein under the supervision of a doctor. It prevents any further damage to the brain and may even help to save your life. Your heart rate, blood pressure, and other vital signs will be monitored closely after the administration of this medicine. Your doctor may also start some other medicines to prevent the formation of new blood clots after treatment with this medication. The most common side effect of this medicine is bleeding. It may cause injection site bleeding, nosebleeds, blood in the stool, blood in the urine, or gastrointestinal bleeding. While on treatment with this medicine, you should be careful while shaving, cutting nails, or using sharp objects. This medicine is not suitable for everyone. Let your doctor know beforehand if you have any active bleeding from any site, recent head injury or bleeding in the brain, bleeding disorder or tendency to bleed easily, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or had any recent major surgery. Be sure to tell your doctor if you have been taking any blood thinners recently.
