Linical Lotion is a skin protectant. It contains calamine. Calamine, being an astringent precipitates, proteins locally around the cells of the damaged skin. As a result surface of the cells are toughened, thereby protecting the cells from external irritation like : insect bites, toxins, and allergens. Calamine hardens the walls of blood vessels (capillaries), thereby stopping oozing out of plasma preventing pruritus, erythema, pain and swelling. Additionally, calamine acts as antiperspirant. Usage: Sunburn Prickly heat Insect bite Pruritus Drug – induced skin rash. Direction for use: Sufficient amount of Linical Lotion should be applied through gentle rubbing to the affected area 2 to 3 times daily. Dosage: As directed by the Dermatologist.
