The key ingredients used in the spray are isopropyl myristate, alcohol, zinc pyrithione, polysorbate 80, sodium lauryl sulphate and propellants. Isopropyl Myristate, a synthetic oil, works as an emollient and lubricant in beauty products. Less oily in nature, the oil is easily absorbed by the skin and ensures quick penetration from the surface. Polysorbate 80, a nonionic surfactant, helps in the dissolution of all the ingredients in the base solvent. By reducing the surface tension, it helps in mixing the components of the emulsion. Zinc Pyrithione prevents itching and flaking from the surface of dry skin and scalp. The spray also imparts an anti-bacterial action and avoids events such as infections.The spray is indicated for use in skin eczema, psoriasis, seborrhea and atypical dermatitis.
