Liveraid Capsule is a unique combination of Silymarin, Alpha lipoic acid, Selenium and L-ornithine-L-aspartate (LOLA). Silymarin is used to regenerate liver cells damaged by alcohol or drugs, decongest the liver. A liver decongestant stimulates bile flow through the liver and gallbladder, thus reducing stagnation and preventing gallstone formation and bile-induced liver damage, increase the survival rate of patients with cirrhosis, complement the treatment of viral hepatitis, protect against industrial poisons. L-ornithine-L-aspartate (LOLA) improves the ability of the liver and other organs to detoxify ammonia and hence is useful in patients with liver cirrhosis and hepatic encephalopathy. Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant shown to decrease the amount of hepatic fibrosis associated with liver injury. This mechanism suggests it has promise for cirrhosis.
