Lycomac Syrup is an antioxidant and multivitamin preparation. Lycomac contains lycopene, methylcobalamin, L-arginine, vitamin E, selenium and zinc. Lycopene is extracted from fresh ripe tomatoes, it is a powerful antioxidant. One molecule of lycopene can neutralize 12 molecules of free radicals. Methylcobalamin is a derivative of vitamin B12 and is needed for maturation of red blood cells. Vitamin E, selenium, and zinc are antioxidants. Lycomac has disease modifying actions in pregnancy. L-arginine gets converted to nitric oxide which causes vasodilation thereby improving nutrient delivery to the foetus.
