NVM M12 OD tablet contains Folic acid, Magnesium, Mecobalamin, Niacinamide and Vitamin B6. NVM-M12 is a multivitamin preparation that has a important role of increasing the platelet count. Folic acid is essential to numerous bodily functions ranging from nucleotide biosynthesis to the remethylation of homocysteine. It is especially important during periods of rapid cell division and growth. Both children and adults require folic acid to produce healthy red blood cells and prevent anemia. Mecobalamin promotes the initiation and maturation of blood cells. Pyridoxine control (along with vitamin B12 and vitamin B9) blood levels of homocysteine, an amino acid.
